The wife of the birthday boy wanted to do something very special for him - birthday party in traditional Georgian style. This idea has inspired us from the first beginning and we started working on the event concept. We tried to recreate a beauty of Georgia in fall in one venue.
The idea of a dinner in "Village yard" appealed to Marina and we started full preparation to realize this unusual and interesting story.
The quantity of decarations were measured in tons and trucks. We recreated Georgian village inside an event hall of a hotel. Garlic, peppers, bay leaves and Georgian saffron - these were hanging from the ceiling decorations. We brought piles of straw, a traditional carriage, placed wine barrels and vessels around the place. Each area was massively decorated with the autumn items: pumpkins, grapes, persimmons etc. We built two yards for the animals and brought two sheeps and placed rabbits in them. A well trained person was looking after the animals throughout the evening, so they felt ok.
Devil is in the details, so even small of the pieces of the concept were thought through: waiters had changed their uniform to traditional Georgian costumes - chockhas, napkins on the tables were made of sackcloth, the dark red tablecloths were produced specially for this event. During the welcome guests were served wine from the traditional horns so the guests could start feeling the authentic Georgian hospitality.
Throughout the evening guests were entertained by tamada and the performance of the best Georgian dancers.
Our guests, the most popular people of Moscow: Ksenia Sobchak, Svetlana Bondarchuk, Oksana Lavrentieva, Reso Gigineishvili and many others, people who are difficult to impress were all over the place taking photos, posting on social media and just looking on details.
The client and all of the guests were very happy with the party and to us it is the main confirmation that we fully completed the task!
